    Does this sound like you?

Your life has become a redundant pattern. In many ways, you feel numb. Your daily routine has become structured around meeting the needs for others and you have become disconnected from your own. You have experienced trauma and feel misunderstood by others. The patterns of these traumatic events appear to be reoccurring in the present day and you wonder how much longer you can carry the weight of this pain. Whether this feeling is new or familiar, you are ready for a change. You aspire to feel empowered, to love yourself, and to regain control. Therapy can be a scary step to take. It may be the first space you have ever had that is solely for you. Experiencing something new and different can be challenging. For many, it’s easy to become compliant to this lifestyle, but for you, you have decided to create change.

Empowerment, self- love, and self-advocacy awaits you. Can you imagine a world where you include yourself in a space rather than dismissing your needs for the sake of others? A safe therapeutic space can provide individuals and couples access to tools for effective communication. These tools and resources can be used for increased insight and compassion for ourselves. With authenticity, vulnerability, and consistency, you can create the growth you have been in search of.

    Therapy can help!

I believe in a client centered approach. This means that the therapeutic intervention will be dependent on your needs and goals for growth. I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Solution focused approaches, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Through this process, you will gain the ability to look inward and truly connect with yourself. You will have the opportunity to recognize what feels safe and how to create boundaries to protect this safety.

    People I work best with

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I recognize and value the importance of an affirming therapeutic space. I enjoy supporting those with anxiety, depression, trauma / PTSD, women’s issues, grief, LGBTQ+ identities, couples, life transitions, relationship issues, and those in search of personal growth.
